Seborrheic eczema or Seborrheic dermatitis is a common skin disorder that primarily affects the scalp. It causes scaly patches, red skin, and unruly dandruff. Seborrheic dermatitis can also affect fatty body areas such as the face, nose, eyebrows, ears, eyelids and chest area. Seborrheic dermatitis can disappear without treatment. You may also need many repeated treatments before the symptoms disappear. And they can come back later. Daily cleansing with mild soap and shampoo can reduce the feeling of fat and the formation of dead skin. Seborrheic dermatitis is also known as dandruff. In babies, the disease is called a cradle cap and causes scaly patches on the scalp.

It is diagnosed by following signs and symptoms
