Talk to ENT on Pain In Submandibular Gland Lymph Nodes
Asking for Self, Female, 29 years old, Islamabad
I underwent left thyroid lobectomy+cystectomy a month ago. It was a cold nodule. I had pain in my submandibular gland but we thought it was because of large cyst but after surgery i still had pain which didnt go even after taking anti biotics + pain killers (post surgery medicines) So i went to ENT surgeon & he asked me to go for Ultrasound again. I went today please comment on my report. I want to understand.
It looks like inflammatory cervical lymphadenopathy. Fine needle aspiration cytology of lymph node is required. please share histopathology report of removed specimen of thyroid.

I have seen it. It is parathyroid adenoma. It is a benign disease. please keep follow up. or you can visit me at my clinic at said pur road Rawalpindi.
