Eye Problem

Question

black shadow like thing flows infront of left eye on and on for 3 days. It is very irritating but no feelings of pain.feeling no headache as well. patient is on thyroxin for like 5 years and have got operated on thyroid as well. she got herself some self medication on the day it all started. eyedrops name is betnesol-N. It could be a side effect of these drops or may be some thing normal or any initial symptom of bigger issue. Need assistance for worthy doctors if its okay or something to worry about.

kindly tell if she is diabetic or hypertensive?... history of using glasses for weak eye sight?... does she alao sees flashes?... is the problem only in left eye?

You should go through blood pressure and sugar levels check up,  betnesol eye drops is dangerous if someone using it since long time,  stop self medication practice. This could be some changes due to age factor. Use this medicines and drink plenty of water. Nevanac eye drops 1 drop TDS for 1 month and Tab. Zevit one daily for 1 month.

Plz do not use betnesol  it can cause glaucoma    . If possible send a picture for proper diagnosis
