i have been facing fever of 99 f since yesterday , slight throat irritation with mucus. the throat irritation is almost cured after i took some home remedies. still having fever of 99 f with mucus ingestion . i am checking my fever after every 2 hrs . today i didnt had fever(almost 97f) in the morning but got fever again after 12 pm(99f). i ate spicy sauces with my food a day before yesterday . i have self isolated myself in fear of corona . what else should i do ?

97 F to 99 F temperature is in normal range
Don't worry too much about your temperature
If have still sore throat any other symptoms please tell me

actually my father is tested positive for covid-19 thats why i am more concerned. again my temp was 99 f at 3pm and at 7pm my temperature is 98f , with no other symptom , apart that i i am injesting some mucoid material

the mucoid material is white in colour just like saliva but thick in consistency

if your father result is positive then
definitely you should test your self for COVID-19
because
persons without symptoms, but with a history of close contact with a COVID-19 positive patient should be tested

If you have the following symptoms then I will recommend RT -PCR for Corona virus
the respiratory symptoms alone
cough
shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Or at least two of these symptoms
Fever
Chill
Repeated shaking with chill
Muscle pain
headache
sore throat
New loss of taste or smell
If you want to self qurantine your self
no problem you can
It is good for you and your family that you have self qurantine yourself.But according to Govt of Pakistan Ministry of National Health services, regulations & Coordination Guidelines you should be tested for COVID 19 because you have close contact with COVID-19 positive patient.You no need to be panic
Eat well, sleep well , drink Calwood C sachet in glass of water to boost your immunity and take tablet Panadol for fever, and adopt all protocol of prevention

thanks , i m following the protocols , as result of corona test requires 4 days as in father's case , so i think its useless to wait that long and self quarantine is better option than that
No need to worry , isolate follow good protocols . Take fruits
