Talk to General Physician on Pain In Neck

I have pain in my neck, it is the cervical spine where I feel pain, the portion exaclty near to the skull. I am suffering this pain since 5-6 years, first I thought it was the pain in my brain or head but I was wrong. I feel so much burden on my brain, I feel disturb, usually I forget words when I talk to others, all the time I have bad mood and I feel temper all the time. I have no more symptoms. I think I have stroke please gyide me what should I do if I have stroke in my neck. What are the symptoms of the stroke?
