Talk to Gynecologist on Bleeding During Pregnancy

Dear Doctors, My wife is more than 8 weeks pregnant. Last week she suddenly had bleeding with out pain. Night before we had intercourse with the the recommendation of our Doctor. We rushed to the hospital and they did scan. Baby was ok ALHUMDULILLAH. Doc said it could be the the movement of placenta (aanwal) caused the bleeding. Fertic C injection,cyclogest was prescribed. Now it's been 11 week but still she has bleeding or spotting on and off. Doctor says its old blood draining out. Can you pls guide what could be the reason of continuous bleeding and what care should we take.
