Talk to Gynecologist on Breast Feeding
Asking for Wife, Female, 26 years old, Karachi
My wife is a breast feeding mother of a new born baby. She has nipple pain and bleeding due to feeding and blood is coming along with milk . Can this be feeded to baby?

Salam she should use nipple shield for the time being and apply breastmilk to the nipples after breastfeeding. When the nipples r healed then she can feed directly. Also if problem increases visit ur gynecologist . Thanks

-breast feed for now could be avoided or milk can be expressed with pump or sheild and can give to baby for time being .
