Talk to Gynecologist on Folic Acid Intake

Hey I am married (2years) with no kids . We do IC like every week or sometimes more . We want to conceive , never gone to gynaecologist or been on medication for specifically for conceiving as i was of point of view for natural but i was taking folic acid 5 mg always like started 2 months back so i need to know should I continue till whole time of life if i am in phase of TTC? Like or there is any limit to stop the medication. Hiatory I had period skip of NOV 2019 but when checked it was pregnancy negative and Ultrasound was also normal and also got periods of dec also
