Talk to Gynecologist on Gynaecology

Assalamu alaykum.Asking for my wife.Shall i give her contraceptive tablet???and which one i mean brand name.Her last menses started on 18th march probably.So her menses this month should have started on 18 th april,hence already delayed by 5 days.We had protected intercourse today april 22nd at around 1130 pm night time but we are afraid that it leaked somehow(although not fully sure).Shall she take contraceptive tablet.Is there a risk of pregnancy even though periods are already delayed...can she wait for few more days for regular menses and then use contraceptive tablet in case there are no menses.She is afraid that contraceptive may cause harmonal disorder and imbalance because she has issue of delayed menses frequently.her age is 41...
