Talk to Gynecologist on Gynecological Problem
Asking for Sister, Female, 27 years old, D i khan
27 year old female got depo provera injection for contraception on 8 Nov on 8th day of periods.she has bleeding in small amount nd sometime blackish brown spotting from 21 dec nd still its present...what is the solution to this issue ? Its going to 11 days .normal periods were 6 days only

this is the side effect of the injection she took fr contraception...solution is tht she shud bare down wth it...then shud nevr use again...she shud visit her attending OBG who can then advise her medicine to stop her spotting
this happens with contraception inj.
it will settle with time .
or she can visit her gynecologist for alternative

It's the side effect of inj. irregular bleeding is common but settles after 2nd and third injection. nothing to worry about
