Asking for Self, Female, 23 years old, Islamabad
I am a breastfeeding mother of 6 months old. I am not having periods after delievery. I went to doctor, she prescribed me primolut n for 15 days. And i am taking it. I had an unprotected intercourse yesterday. My question is can i get pregnant while taking primolut. And does this medicine act as contraceptive?
Assalam o alikum. if your doing absolute breast feeding your periods will stop but you can conceive. primolut is not contraceptive and not to be taken in pregnancy. you can stop it may be after few days your periods will come if you are not pregnant. good luck
