Talk to Gynecologist on High Prolactin Level

31y/o female married last 3.5 years having 2.5 years child. During period of 2 years breastfeeding, i didnt get my periods. After evaluation, i found with high prolactin level, for which i m taking brotin from last 1.5 months now my periods are come back. my uterus scan is fine. thyroid level n skull scan is also okay. I want to conceive now. please tell me once my prolactin gets normalize, will my fertility restore? when should i left brotin? for how long period should i try to conceive naturally? when i should go for infertility treatment?

If your test was done during breastfeeding then prolactin is normally high.....once you stop your fertility should be restored so give yourself some months before going for treatment....if however the prolactin was high and you were not breastfeeding then it is better to wait till it is normal on two successive tests and then proceed.....please schedule an appointment in person if you would like to have complete workup and evaluation

Aoa what was the prolactin level initially coz small rise is due to many reasons for example it could be raised coz you were feeding your child. Now when your level become normal then u can conceive. But sometime have to take medicine for induction of ovulation. Advise is proper consultation and follow up. Thanks
