Asking for Self, Female, 32 years old, Islamabad
Married for 4 years. After one years of trying for baby visited gynecologist who upon investigation found complex cyst in ovary. She performed laparotomy to remove cyst which was not successful due to dense adhesion found. Recently had an HSG test. Report is attached. Kindly advise if laparoscopic surgery can correct the issue i.e., remove adhesion and restore normal function of tubes and ovary? what the the chances of success for such treatment to improve fertility?

Sir considering the cost of IVF and risk of failure, is it not a better course to try to remove adhesion from uterus and tubes through surgery?

Thanks Doctors for your kind reply. Considering the high cost of IVF and risks involved may be it is better for us to go for laparoscopy which may possibly remove cysts and restore normal functions of pelvis. In that case would you kindly refer to an experienced laparoscopic surgeon in Islamabad/Rawalpindi which can deal gynecological
issues?
