Talk to Gynecologist on Irregular Periods
Asking for Self, Female, 23 years old, Lahore
Assalamualaikum! I've secondary amenorrhea since 2 years and doctors kept me on Diane-35 for the most cycles. Now that I'm married and want to conceive, I didn't get any period for 3 months as I wasn't on Diane-35. I went to gynae and she did UPT, ruled out pregnancy. Then TVS and ruled out PCOS. She asked me to take Diane-35 amd get hormonal tests done on 2nd day of cycle fasting.
I gave my blood sample today for testing. She also suggested me to take progyluton for 3 months but didn't mention the dosage and which day to start from. Can you please guide me regarding whe to start taking Progyluton? Also, I'm worried if I'm going through peri-menopause or Premature ovarian insufficiency.

it cud b anythg-ur history is nt sufficient fr diagnosis nor its supported wth labs-anyways if u r nt hvg ur cycles-u can start progyluton from any day-but regularity and timing is v imp-my suggestion is to go fr progesterone challenge test to determine actual cause fr ammenorrhea-u need detailed OBG consultation fr proper management and treatment...

I'll be getting my lab reports tomorrow. I got withdrawal bleeding from Diane-35 that's why I want to know which day I should start taking Progyluton.
Lab reports will be of my serum LH, FSH, TSH and Prolactin.

28 April. Got withdrawal bleeding on 4th May. Gave blood sample today (2nd day, fasting)

start from 8th may-c i hv different strategy and ur OBG might hv different strategy fr progyluton usage-so b careful about tht-i hv a lot of reservations fr using hormones in un married and fertility desiring females...my suggestion is to contact ur care provider in any case

Dr I'm married and want to conceive. But the issue us I don't get periods regularly and I'm not sure if I'm ovulating.

Pregna ez (1 tablet a day, for 1 month)
Inj VitD3 (Drink one inj permonth)
Progyluton(for 3 months)
Folic acid (1 tablet a day, for 1 month)
