Talk to Gynecologist on Ovulation

I have irregular cycle bcz of contraceptive use for 7months till 25march ,i had withdrawal bleeding but didnt got natural period so my dr suggested to take primolut fr 5days , after stopping bleeding started on 3rd day. According to that bleeding i was suppose to be ovulating today , i had unprotected sex with husband (it was pull out method) he didnt discharged inside but i was afraid k koi drop na reh gaya ho , immediately took ecp, But i heared if u are already ovulated ecp wont help , after -hrof drinking water i did ovulation Test...i got very fainted test line almost unable to see, after 4hrs of 1st test I again did ovulation test n it abit darker, lighter than c but better than before, m i ovulating already? Will ecp work?
