Talk to Gynecologist on Pain In Breast
Asking for Self, Female, 32 years old, Karachi
I m mother of 9 months old feeding my boy since his birth from last 4 days i m feeling pain in my breast specially left one the pain become worse when he sucks particularly in nipples i havnt got my periods since his birth also got severe UTI after delivery kindly help me in this regard.

any feeling of lump,tenderness or discharge from breast?
or cracked nipples?
periods not coming because of lactational amenorrhea but take precautionary measures after intercourse if not wanting pregnancy.
for UTI,get your urine dr done after some time when possible.
increase fluid intake and if burning micturition or concentrated urine or increase urine.take citrosoda sachet two times in a cup of water for atleast week

Salam get ur urinalysis d/r and urine c/s done . U take cranmax sachet two times a day , drink lots of water . Do hot formentation of the left breast . Take pain killer for the breast pain . Thanks

Thanks alot doctors for the prompt reply there is no swelling , redness or any sort of discharge neither i feel urge to urinate nor having cold n vomits.isint it some infection?? Should i keep on feeding my child??

no it has no connection with UTI.
I thought u r currently also having UTI,that's why asked for urine d/r.
any ways it seems to be soreness of breast as a result of nipple irritation due to teething(baby's).
do u have any unprotected sexual intercourse as some times,rarely, it's an early sign of pregnancy in nursing mother too.
anyways,rinse the baby saliva off the nipple after feeding,hot compresses on nipple after feeding,apply expressed fresh breast milk on nipple and locally applied bepanthen cream after feeding..all of them helps to heal soreness of breast
