Talk to Gynecologist on Pcos
Asking for Self, Female, 31 years old, Rawalpindi
I want to get doctors' suggestions about contraceptive pills. I have pcos and dr has prescribed Primolut N 3 times a day for 21 days but today i read on marham that birth control pills cause u damage. Is it true? Should i continue taking or stop them? Note: I am unmarried.
First you need to confirm the diagnosis of PCOS. Diagnosis cannot be made on Ultra sound only. Need detailed history and examination followed by hormone test.

I am not obese, having 50 kg weight. I have normal blood cp and thyroid profile. Rest of the tests wil be done in next visit but im much tense as i have started losing my hair since im using primolut N. Should i stop taking it. ?? I can't contact that dr as i dont hv her contact number.
