Asking for Self, Female, 25 years old, Lahore
My age is 25 years, unmarried. My last period date is 17th April. I am suffering from typhoid since 13th May. I didn't have my periods on 17th May and its 5th June now and I am still waiting for my due periods. My periods were regular. Currently I am on medication of typhoid. I couldn't visit a gynae as suffering from high fever and bad throat and my doctor advised me to keep myself isolated as I have more chances of covid due to weakness. Kindly give a piece of advice what should I do. Thanks in anticipation! P. S: I am unable to attach my typhoid reports and doctor's prescription as it says file size must be 1 MB.

Thank you.
You just wait for your periods I will not prescribe any hormone not safe because of covid. Improve your diet and just wait.

Doctor I am already taking good care of my diet, although suffering from fever that is due to typhoid, my corona test was negative. plus I am also doing walk to keep myself active. I am overweight as well. height 5.1 weight 81, lost 7 kgs recently through diet and walk. It creates stress for me as I am not having my periods. My belly is bloated as well

I think better you take care of yourself and wait till your fever settle down and symptoms improved please keep yourself in isolation because your family members are also at risk. My suggestions you can do urine pregnancy test if it's negative then wait for period or blood test once you are out of danger.

I missed it, Period problem only for married woman can be emergency but not serious one, for unmarried person no emergency get an ultrasound done and visit doctor once you are afebrile.
