Talk to Gynecologist on Periods Related Issue

i have issue in my periods and this is the first time.Periods started two days a go but almost no flow,very light brown discharge that too nearto none...i dont know why periods arent starting properly,its been two days,very faint spotting almost none,is there any medicine that doctor can give for periods to start with normal flow?
