Talk to Gynecologist on Pregnancy

I have vitaminD insufficiency,got to know through tests in september....i took osanate d tablet daily till the start of october...when got pregnant I left taking any calcium or vit d medicines...now i am 10+weeks pregnant...dr gave me CaC 1000 at the 6th week of preg...but I have taken it only for 10 days and then left...i was afraid to take any other medicine except folic acid in first trimester....Can I take CaC1000 in the first trimester??is it safe??
