Talk to Gynecologist on Pregnancy And Covid

I'm 15 weeks pregnant, tested positive today for covid. Having severe coughing and sneezing. In my previous tests my TSH levels were very high hence the doctor advised against taking any medication on my own. Should I take any cough syrup and what other remedies should I take to make sure the fetus remains healthy?

Take steam, drink warm fluids and stay isolated for 2 to 3 weeks

Isolate yourself , steam 2 times a day for fever you can take panadol 6 hrly , plenty of fresh juices & saline gargles , take cough syp if needed& consult pulmonologist

first of all b sure in sha Allah tht baby ll b safe...he/she wont gt the covid as theres no eveidence of vertical transmission yet...yes wth advice of ur medical specialist u can start on anti allergic steroids cough syrups steam+vicks inhalations sun exposures vitamin C kalwanji and suitable anti biotic analgesic etc...but of course exact prescription ll b given by medical specialist...drink a lot of hot fluids,deep throat gargles wth good quality mouthwash,a lot fruits,high protein diet etc shud b taken...
wish u speedy recovery in sha Allah...in case of breathing difficulty attend to any tertiary care hospital emergency...but i again say take opinion frm a medical specialist...
