c mid trimester pregnancy losses can b attributed to cervical incompetence...but to make sure u really hv cervical incompetence u need to hv serial weekly pelvic scans to keep a check on cervical length and internal os patency fb coning etc...remember to gt the scans done by the same sonographer and same machine both full bladder and post void...all prophylactic circlages shud b done by twelve weeks...
