Talk to Gynecologist on Urine Infection

I am facing Urine infection problem right now, which never had been before in my entire life but after marriage (2 months) I am facing the mentioned above problem. I have diagnosed numerous pus cells /wbc and blood in urine examination but my urine culture report is all ok. After ejaculation I feel immense irritation. I consulted with Urologist, he advised me medicines for my problem but he recommended me to consult my wife also to any gynaecologist. According to my urologist this infection could be cause of infection/fungus in my wife which are being transferred into me from my wife. So let me know should my wife Consult with gynaecologist according to my urologist suggestion?
Asa urine infection is rarely transferred during intercourse but some local infection can be transferred .take her to gymarcologist if she has dischathe or itching
