Talk to Psychiatry on Drug Abuse Psychosis

The patient has alot of complexes in life and started drugs. Drug abuse caused full blown psychosis 4 years back. Was admitted in rehab and was normal in a month. However he went back on drugs and alcohol two years later due to severe depression and stress and had psychosis again. Was in rehab for 2 weeks and back to normal. This time he didnt take those drugs but took alot of ritalin and some painkillers over the tine period of 3 months and is again in psychosis. Very aggrrssive, isnt agreeing on rehab and taking risperidone 2ml, kempro and epival. Its been two weeks and psychosis isnt going. He stays up all night keeps walking around for hours till his feet hurt. We have forced him to see a psycholoist and he got one session as well. Psychologist told us to be strict with him but that made him more depressed and he started talki g about self harm. we are scared that if the psychosis will go anytime soon. I need an opinion by another psychiatrist. Also, looking for an understanding
